It's one of several personal training programs for women we offer at our studios.

Why Standard Gym Programs Don't Work for New Moms

Most fitness programs ignore postpartum realities: diastasis recti (abdominal separation), weakened pelvic floor muscles, hormonal shifts affecting mood and metabolism, and the exhaustion of caring for a newborn. Jumping into a standard HIIT class too soon can actually make things worse.

What the Lean Mommy Program Looks Like

Core Rehabilitation First

Before we add intensity, we rebuild your foundation. Our trainers assess for diastasis recti and design exercises that safely close the abdominal gap while strengthening your core from the inside out.

Progressive Strength Building

Once your core foundation is solid, we progressively add strength training. Every exercise is scalable, and coaches modify in real time — because with a newborn, no two days are the same.

Community of Moms Who Get It

You're training alongside other moms who understand the challenges, the guilt, and the exhaustion. Our Lean Mommy members become each other's support system beyond the gym.

Flexible Scheduling

Sessions at both our La Quinta and Palm Springs studios are scheduled at times that work for moms.

When to Start After Giving Birth

Vaginal delivery: Most doctors clear light exercise at 6 weeks postpartum. We recommend OB/GYN clearance before starting.

C-section: Recovery typically requires 8-12 weeks. Our trainers are experienced in C-section recovery modifications.

Important: There's no rush. Whether you start at 3 months or 12 months postpartum, Lean Mommy meets you where you are.
